River Southwest School of Ministry operates in unwavering allegiance to the Holy Scriptures as God's inspired and infallible Word. Here are the core convictions that anchor our teaching.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, serving as the supreme rule of faith and conduct for all believers.
The Eternal Godhead
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, distinct yet equal in power and glory.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
Salvation by Grace
We believe that man is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by human merit or works, through repentance and faith in the shed blood of Christ.
The Holy Spirit & Ministry Preparation
We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering believers for holy living, supernatural gifts, and effective witness and ministry in the Church and world.
The Church & Great Commission
We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth, called to worship God, nurture believers, and proclaim the Gospel to every nation.
